About Us

Emily has always had a passion for horses, which blossomed into a love of off-track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs) at an early age. She started off in Pony Club and quickly discovered her love of the sport of Eventing. Emily has not only trained her OTTB to the Advanced level of Eventing but also successfully operated OTTB Marketplace, a venture into retraining and rehoming OTTBs. She was one of the trainers selected for the inaugural 2013 RRP (at the time called RRTP) Makeover at Pimlico Racetrack with the OTTB mare Victory Money, and also competed at the RRP in 2017 on The Big Rooster.
After hanging up her hat and 'retiring' from retraining racehorses for a living, Emily has embraced her second passion, design, and currently works in the tech industry as a UX Product Designer. She is currently training her young horse, Lexi, who she jokes is her "COVID baby" as she bred her OTTB mare during the quarantine of 2020 to produce this lovely young horse.

Niamh's connection with OTTBs began in childhood, which finally turned into ownership in 2013. Captivated by these incredible animals, she made the leap from the corporate world to join forces with Emily, gaining hands-on experience in selecting, restarting, and rehoming OTTBs. Niamh has owned several impressive OTTBs that she identified as young prospects and retrained and resold. She is also a professional photographer, specializing in rare books and equine photography.
